Double beds come in a range of sizes. The size chosen is perhaps a function of available space. A small bedroom may not be suitable for a full sized bed. Conversely a standard sized bed may look too small in a large bedroom. Sometimes the size of bed chosen could be a question of stature.
A small double bed is 4ft. A standard double bed is 4ft 6 inches. A kingsize double bed is 5ft. A super kingsize beds can be any size from 5ft 6 inches and upwards.
